Material selection and converting work together
Whether an adhesive bond, protective film or abrasive process works depends on the specific application. Surface, component geometry, loads and processing requirements determine which material and delivery format make sense.
Krückemeyer GmbH combines technical wholesale with in-house processing. Converting means processing suitable adhesive tapes, films, foams or coated abrasives into application-specific dimensions, shapes, constructions and delivery formats. Examples include slit rolls, die-cut parts and handling aids.
For your enquiry, we assess material and processing method together. Lift tabs or positioning aids can make handling easier; we check whether they suit your component against its requirements. Samples or test batches can be produced before further manufacture.

Slitting and cutting
Suitable base materials are made into rolls, strips or cut pieces in dimensions assessed for the application.

Die cutting
Die cutting shapes adhesive tapes, films and foams to a contour, for example as individual parts or on a roll.

Laser cutting creates contours without a conventional die; material suitability is assessed case by case.

Which shapes can Krückemeyer make from adhesive tapes and films?
Krückemeyer can slit, die cut or laser cut suitable adhesive tapes and films. Possible formats include rolls, strips and contoured die-cut parts. Lift tabs or positioning aids may also be part of a format. The appropriate contour and process depend on the base material, geometry and required handling. Send a drawing or description of your component so that the possible implementation can be assessed.
How do roll material and die-cut parts differ as delivery formats?
Roll material supplies a continuous web for further processing. Die-cut parts already have a defined contour and may be delivered on a roll, on sheets or as individual pieces, depending on the format. This choice affects how parts are removed, positioned and integrated into a manual or automated process. Krückemeyer assesses the delivery format against the component, processing method and suitable base material.
What does cleanroom class ISO 9 mean at Krückemeyer?
ISO 9 is the documented class of Krückemeyer's cleanroom environment. It supports production under controlled conditions where technical cleanliness matters for the application. The air classification alone does not verify any specified cleanliness of the finished product, and it does not mean sterile or particle-free. Material, handling and inspection requirements must be defined separately for each project.
