As an abrasive belt manufacturer, we deliver not only standard stock but, above all, undertake further processing (Converting) and custom sizing: a belt made to measure is an individually tailored belt solution where the abrasive is precisely matched to the machine, material and process objective — primarily via belt width and belt length. Depending on the system used, the belt range extends from file belts, short and narrow belts to normal and long belts, up to wide belts for surface finishing.

A central quality factor in converting is the belt closure. Backings made of paper, fabric or film are often bonded at an angle in practice and implemented as butt joints or overlapped joints. Depending on the application, different closure variants are used — for example overlapped bonded or butt-bonded versions. For demanding processes there are also solutions with reinforcement foil as well as grain-free or ground grain zone available to support smooth belt running, clean transitions and process-safe results.
